Each year Broward Health hosts 25 students for 10 weeks in a paid non-clinical internship program. The program is designed to provide students with an opportunity to gain practical work experience that complements their academic studies. Students must demonstrate strong academic performance, leadership skills and community involvement. In addition, they must be currently enrolled in a bachelor's or graduate degree program from an accredited college or university.

Internship opportunities are usually posted in January of each year for the upcoming Summer. Applicants must apply at https://careers.browardhealth.org/ for consideration and are usually able to access additional information through their university's Handshake website.
